Production Technician (Varied Shifts)
Part-Time: Monday- Thursday
8:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. or 9:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
Do you enjoy working in a warehouse environment? How does working in a climate-controlled environment sound (air conditioning)?
This position is varied shifts which could require working 10 to 12-hour shifts, with some mandatory overtime.
Ideal candidates will have some mechanical ability and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Production Technicians will be responsible for setting up and operating bottling equipment, performing light maintenance, selecting the correct components for the run and reporting any issues with equipment directly to the supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Set up equipment for each run
- Select the correct components for the run
- Conduct random inspections during production run
- Pack finished product into boxes for final inspection
- Clean and sanitize work room and equipment between each run
- Stock shelves with new components when received
- Always maintain a clean work environment
- Maintain equipment; assist with scheduled maintenance
- Participate in inventory counts
Requirements
- Position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to read and decipher labels
- Must have steady concentration, seeing depth perception
- Must be able to lift weight or move up to 75 lbs daily
- Must be able to lift above your head during periods of time
- Must be able to bend and twist daily
- Must be able to stand for more than three hours at a time without a break
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to work varied 10 – 12 hour shifts and overtime
- Previous experience not required
- Minimum of a high school education or the equivalent required
